As part of Brighton Artists' Open Houses, Art in Ditchling Trail, come and visit our International Centre for the Lettering Arts, where you can view a selection of work by leading artist/craftsmen including Calligraphy, Illumination, Heraldic Design, Gilding, Brush Lettering and Painting. Calligraphy and illumination by Gerald Fleuss and Patricia Gidney and works from the Edward Johnston Foundation Collection. Botanical painting by Patricia Gidney and Pam Lawrence. Demonstrations in Calligraphy, Gilding and Heraldic Design 2pm to 3.30pm. In addition see work in progress at The Stone Carving and Lettering Studio by artists Geoffrey Aldred and Christopher Elsey. See the commissioning process from drawings to finished work. Some works for sale.
