My professional work involves the design of text and image and I enjoy the flexibility calligraphy gives me in forming a seamless integration with illustration, illumination and heraldry. I have a passion for railways - steam traction in particular, and include here some of my railway paintings (in 2014 I was elected Associate Member of the Guild of Railway Artists)
